Ion Exchange for Treating PFAS, PFOS-PFOA

1050 GPM PFAS,PFOS-PFOA Treatment System

How it Works PFOS Treatment

Ion Exchange is often used in reducing metals and cations in groundwater remediation and Wastewater Treatment. It now is a proven treatment for PFOS-PFOA in groundwater remediation and surface water treatment.

Ion exchange is a very simple method for treating PFOA and PFOS Water is taken from the source and processed through a Ion Exchange media vessel.  The vessel is sized for the flow rate and concentrations.

We offer two media types.  One time use and regenerable.

Our one time use has been so successful , over 150,000 bed volumes treated on one site with no breakthrough it may not be cost effective to have a regeneration system,

We offer an ion exchange media that can be regenerated.

Our Ion Exchange Media Exceeds EPA and State Regulations Removal Criteria

EPA Drinking water standards is 4 parts per trillion It are currently the most cost effective way of treating , PFAS, PFOA and PFOS in ground water and Municipal water Supply.

When compared to carbon out Ion Exchange system  the systems can has  a footprint  50% less, and last 10 time longer.

If you have a domestic use our POE system cannot be beat for efficiency.  The system has a low profile , small footprint  and can last for over a year. See or link to our POE Treatment section.
